Fu-Shan Research Station 福山植物園

It's a trip to Fu-Shan Research Station at YiLan in Taiwan. I had heard few people talking about this place, so I really wanted to go. To minimize the impact brought from human being to plants, a reservation for entrance is required and a limited number of visitors per day is controlled by the authority. Going through the 13-km-long Hsuehshan tunnel, we arrived Yilan before noon.

今天請假和Simon, Robin, 和Lucas一起去福山植物園玩, 原本是整個部門的活動, 但最後因為工作關係只剩我們四個, 因為真的太想去"傳說中"的福山植物園, 所以說什麼都要出發! (真的不是因為我們四個比較閒.. 真的不是... :P)

福山植物園是一個位於宜蘭的研究中心, 拜雪山隧道之賜 (或是說拜Simon一路從桃園開車接我們之賜), 我們在中午前輕鬆抵達. 上次逼近雪山隧道是兩年前從台北出差往桃園卻走錯路的結果, 這次終於真正穿越將近13公里的雪山隧道. 福山植物園必須要事先申請才可以進去, 蠻漂亮的, 春夏應該色彩更豐富, 可惜走一圈只有三公里, 和我想像中穿梭於一大片無止境的天然歩道不同. ha ha.. 只能怪我自己想太多...

Fu-Shan Research Station is also called "the forest of rain and fog". It rains more than 200 days per year.

福山植物園又稱"雨與霧的森林", 一年超過兩百多天都下雨, 所以一路有雨與霧的伴隨也不稀奇. 一進去就有熱心的服務人員站在看板後先對我們解說.

There are many mandarin ducks in the lake. The male ones became very beautiful and colorful during the mating season, while the female ones stayed gray to protect little ducks in natural. Therefore "Female is great and unselfish by natural" is approved. ha ha~ :-P

進入園區第一站就是一個有鴛鴦戲水的水生植物池, 現在是交配季, 鴛鴦都是一對一對的, 公的有非常鮮豔漂亮的羽毛, 目的是要吸引女性, 母的羽毛則灰灰的, 這樣孵育小鴛鴦才比較安全, 唉~ 只能說女性的偉大是天生的~ :-P

According to the narrator, although it seems that there is not much water in this river, in fact plenty of water is hiding under the rocks and sands. This kind of natural phenomena, like a natural filter, makes the water from this area even more clean.

穿越園區的哈盆溪雖然看起來水不多, 其實石頭下都是水. 也因為石頭和水的過濾讓這裡的水質格外乾淨.

As a layer on the top of the lake, the green and red duckweed's were mixed with transparent dew, creating a very pure and fresh view and feeling.

湖水上飄著綠色或紅色的浮萍, 兩色交疊格外美麗, 加上露珠漂浮其上相稱, 有一種脫俗的清新.

Leaving the research station, we went to a fishing port for fresh seafood. It's the great part of Taiwan that you could easily see both mountain and ocean by a short drive. At the end, we finished the trip at YiLan with the delicious ice cream with traditional flavors. :-P

離開福山植物園後我們順道經過雙連埤, 但天氣不好實在看不到什麼, 接著到南方澳的富美餐廳吃海鮮, 東西新鮮怎麼煮都好吃, 最後在頭份吃完芋頭冰才結束我們的宜蘭一日遊.
